The Cass City and Caro communities are heartbroken following the tragic passing of Brian Parrish, 58, who died Monday from injuries sustained in a serious car crash the night before. The collision occurred around 7 p.m.


 Sunday at the intersection of M-81 and Kester Drive in Caro, a location familiar to many local residents who travel the roadway daily. According to reports, a Ford Expedition crossed all lanes of traffic and struck the eastbound vehicle in which Brian was traveling, setting off a devastating chain of events that would ultimately claim his life.

Brian was transported for further treatment, where doctors and medical staff continued efforts to save him. Despite those efforts, his injuries were too severe, and he passed away the following day.
